Came here for dinner on a whim with my boyfriend and his work friends. We did not know how generous the portions and drinks would be. Great service and food! Will be back.
Great food - original Mexican. Great atmosphere. Give it a try. Service is extremely friendly.
During our stay in Bonita springs we have dinner here. This place is very close to eating in Mexico. We had birria tacos and sopes. They were excellent. So tasty and delicious. The ambiance is so cool they have a lot of Mexican decorations. The service was great, our server was very nice and always checking up on us. I recommend this place.
The birrria tacos are amazing. I always make a point to come here when I visit Bonita springs. We got a pina colada. Omg it was amazing perfect pina colada. Must try must visit. Our waitress Kenya was so sweet and gave us great recommendations. 10/10 service and food quality. The restaurant atmosphere is so relaxing as well. The pina colada in the photo is a medium sized.
Malinche has authentic Mexican cuisine and the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. My server was very helpful in choosing a delicious shredded pork lunch plate with beans & rice. It was tender, juicy and not over seasoned. Perfecto!
Wonderful accidental find (looking for place to mail packages). Delicious and generous pours on the drinks we had-pina colada (served in a Patron bottle), Raspberry margarita, Mango margarita, and sangre Azteca. The corn dip appetizer is yummy as were our entrees-chicken/steak fajita burrito, Chile relleno with steak, taquitos, fish tacos and car it's. Live music was delightful-every Sat nite 6-10pm. Jesus was a wonderful server, very attentive and had excellent suggestions. We immensely enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed guacamole appetizer that was fresh, TLACOYO PRE-HISPÁNICO topped with skirt steak that was also very tender (it's like an open face tamale with edges that crisper) , carnitas malinche (so very tender & generous amount, flavoring is mild ) and steak tacos. Service was good and food was served promptly. Restaurant in a strip mall there was enough parking mid afternoon on a Saturday.
Tired of the same old same old tacos, burritos and chicken mole? Give this place a try, as they feature some authentic, traditional, pre-Hispanic Mexican dishes that you may not find in most other Mexican restaurants!!! Along with beloved birria, guac and Tex-Mex favorites. One of such dishes is tlacoyo, which is almost like a bao-bun version of blue corn taco, with a thicker, soft dough on which your toppings go. We also tried the Molcajete Azteca, which is a feast served in a deep bowl made of volcanic rock. Which keeps everything piping hot for a long time - steam was still wafting out at the end of our meal! There's meat, cheese, cactus, beans, and a variety of other stuff, served with rice and tortilla, so much food it was enough for leftover lunch. Best go with friends and families to sample their extensive menu, or go for lunch where they have a good sample of items at a great price.
I happened upon Malinche while traveling in Bonita Springs for work. And I loved it. The Mayan dishes are the best and very unique. I had the prehistoric and highly recommend it with the Chorizo. Not your average Mexican restaurant. Good service.
Came for lunch. Nice little spot off Bonita Beach road. Started with the cream corn appetizer. It was good and had little chunks of cheese in it. The creamy sauce was also good but I would have liked a little more seasoning on it. Kind of like Mexican corn on the cob I've tried it other places. The barria tacos were the best thing I tried. These were very cheesy and the consomme you dip them in was fantastic. I would have this every time I come. The other thing I tried was a shredded beef dish that had a lot of seasoning including orange. This was also very good and I would have no problem ordering it again. Throw it in a taco with a few beans and it was great. Maybe some lettuce or tomato would be nice to go along with it to make the taco.
